During my PhD in International Political Economy at the Chair for International Relations of the TUM School of Social Sciences and Technology, Munich, I focused on the political and economic consequences of foreign direct investment. I studied and researched at the Zeppelin University, Friedrichshafen (BA in Politics, Administration and International Relations), the University of California, San Diego, the University of Cambridge (MPhil in International Relations and Politics), the Oxford University (Visiting Fellow of Practice at the Blavatnik School of Government) and as a Visiting Fellow in the Government Department at Harvard University.

In the past years, I served as a co-founder and Principal Investigator of the CoronaNet Research Project, which tracks government responses towards COVID-19 policies. Our work has appeared in Nature Human Behaviour, Journal of Peace Research as well as other journals and was mentioned by several media outlets: SPIEGEL Online, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, and the Sueddeutsche Zeitung.

Aside from my passion for statistics and social data sciences, I am constantly trying to create a space for societal discourse, diversity, and cultural openness and have co-founded several political initiatives like Frühlingserwachen e.V..
